Trash collection in Hampton is provided by Baltimore County.  Pickup schedules vary Radiers of the Lidless Candepending on where you live.  The County provides trash collection services for garbage (food waste, etc), recyclable materials, yard refuse and bulk items.  The County also maintains drop off facilities for homeowners, for items such as oil waste, electronic equipment, metal, etc.

Please note that there are regulations governing the type and size of trash containers and their placement.

Hampton has single stream recycling. This means that residents may place all their acceptable paper and bottles & cans out for collection, mixed together, each week. Please do not put any recyclable material in plastic bags and do not include any plastic bags in your recyclables.  The range of acceptable recyclables has also significantly expanded.  Electronic equipment must be delivered to your local electronics recycling center (Cockeysville is closest to Hampton).  Please see www.bcrecycles.com for further details.
